Recently the highly controversial The War Z was released on Steam. It is now the best-selling game on Steam. You buy the game then pay for micro-transactions. However, many people are considering it a scam. The developers flat-out lied about features implemented in the game.
They quickly changed the description of the game.
Recently TotalBiscuit uploaded his WTF is... of it.
This of course wasn't the first time it has happened. Very recently, Towns was released, which many consider unfinished and buggy. If anyone has any articles related to it, link them to me & I'll put them in this post.
So, what do you guys think? Does this hurt Steam's credibility? What purpose does Greenlight serve?
Also, a little side-point, GoG & Origin (to the best of my knowledge) have never released scams or unfinished games.
