I just bought Longest Journey. I don't need it though, I've already got the CDs stashed somewhere, but that's beside the point. Longest Journey is precisely the kind of game I want GOG to release. A fan favourite that didn't sell that much originally, but stood out of the crowd as a game that did something differently and by doing that, it became a classic.
I have plenty of fond memories of these kind of games and they're just the stuff I want to play years from now and as far as I know, GOG.com is the only place where I can be sure I can access them later. For example, with Steam I feel like I'm borrowing their games temporarily, since they can deny access when ever they want, for any reason. I can't build a collection of classics on that kind of system. Here, I can.
I just want to say I really appreciate your work and I look forward to buying classics as they become available. Roll on Grim Fandango, Planescape: Torment, Lost Express and all the other greats!
