So, I was intending to buy the 'assorted indie adventures' set today while the deal is on, but for some reason, no matter how many times I try to check out, the transaction keeps failing.

I've double and triple checked my card details, so I know they're right, and I'd bought the Daedalic adventures pack minutes beforehand, so I have no idea what the issue is, unless it's with my bank.

I'm in the UK, but I've not had any issues buying stuff on this site, or with this card in the past, despite the currency difference, so this is very odd. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try with another browser.

I had trouble yesterday morning early, purchasing one of the bundles myself...just kept processing the transaction (the little spinning wheel just kept a turnin') and never went through. Closed out the browser, and came back last night, and the items were still in my cart. This time the sale went through, and presto, had my games. The server may just be a bit busy...if this what you experienced, try again later like I did. Little bit of a pain, but it worked for me

Thank for the replies!

I tried again in a different browser (I've been trying to buy it since yesterday), IE instead of Firefox, but it failed again.

I didn't get the continuous loading, I was sent to a page telling me 'there was a problem processing your order', which went on to say my payment was declined....
I would phone your card company to check if your card is blocked.
I had a similar situation not long ago, but it worked 15 minutes and a browser restar later. I can only say, ask tech support and meanwhile keep trying.
I tried restarting Firefox, that didn't work either... guess I missed my chance... I was wondering at first if it had anything to do with the fact that I already owned two of the games in the deal. but my cart just adjusted the price for the remaining five games to the full 75% off, so I can't see that being the issue.

And no doubt, I'll be having words with my bank about this...

If it's not something personal, would you mind sharing what the bank tells you?? I mean I'm just wondering if they give a reason like the country it's in, or some such reason like that instead of something specifically related to you. Don't want to pry into your own business but am curious about what banks might be doing regarding transactions with GoG.

I was seeing Foriegn transaction fees on my purchases for the first time ever recently even though I've been purchasing since 2008. So that's why I'm curious about such things. If it was inapproprate for me to ask this, then I am sorry and please disregard. I meant no harm.

Sure, I don't mind, although I'm not used to having stern words with my bank, really, so I'll need to figure out how that works first!

I mean, it's not like this is my first purchase on GoG using my bank card either, so I can't see why they'd have an issue with it now, but I will get to the bottom of it.
I haven't been able to buy anything since Januray 2, 2012. I always get the message that my payment was declined, both when trying to pay with card or PayPal. I have talked to my bank and they say it's nothing on their end. So please GOG help me spend my money and get working on more payment options, Google Checkout would be really nice.
Okay, I've just tried to buy something from the Steam christmas sale, which failed horribly, so now I'm certain the issue is with my bank. More info when I know more, assuming it seems relevent.

Has your bank phoned you?

No it hasn't, why do you ask?

Because whenever my bank (RBS) blocks my card they normally phone me. It is a robot but you can normally reactivate your card by it.

Ah, thanks for the info. I'm with Natwest myself, so I don't know how they handle these things, but I will be paying them a visit tomorrow anyway. Can't have this sort of thing happening, especially not over Christmas!
