Still owned by the same people :) Which is why I said "technically owned". They just decided to make GG into its own stand-alone company when they went from using it just to sell Paradox Games to selling games from hundreds of other publishers. Likely so they avoided talk of 'preferential treatment' on Paradox games :)

I presume DRM-free? Probably, but unfortunately my time machine is broken ATM so I am currently unable to go back in time when that bundle was still available. :)

I just played SPAZ on OnLive for an hour or so. I didn't buy it there though, I still prefer to get it DRM-free.

The Binding of Isaac was included as a bonus in the Humble Voxatron Bundle in November, and like all games in Humble Bundles, it was DRM-free. The DLC is Steam-only though, so far, and as far as I know, unlike e.g. Dungeons of Dredmore which also appeared on Desura, The Binding of Isaac has never been available DRM-free outside of the HIB (no idea how dependent the Steam version is on Steam's DRM, it could also be one of the games that are essentially DRM-free but only available through Steam).

It's written in Flash, and I do know their implementation of achievements at the very least is some weird bastardization because of that. So it's probably tied to Steam very very lightly, if at all.

EDIT: I just checked: it runs just fine without Steam, making it effectively DRM-free (once downloaded, of course).

I just don't think it will happen. They already have their main outlet (GamersGate) where they sell their games along with a few other places like Amazon, Green Man Gaming and Steam. And, as most of their games are sold at low prices once they're a couple of years old, I don't think it benefits them to sell them on GOG at low prices too. After all, then they're paying GOG a cut of the profit as well.

Of course, it could happen and I'd love it if I was wrong. Although, I doubt I'd buy Paradox games on GOG as I already buy everything at GamersGate. Would be nice for others who wanted too, though.

I've been itching to finally try it out, ever since GOG first announced it was coming here.

Frankly, I prefer no news until there is an exact release date for a game. Early announcements with TBDs are never fun.

Let me guess : Hitman again instead of a classic EA title .

Same here. You just get your hopes up in vain.

However, I do appreciate their "work in progress" you can see on the wishlist and in the game catalogue but other than that it's just annoying.

As much as I'd rather see GOG releasing... well, good old games, and a lot less indies and games that nobody asked for, I do hope to see Mutant Mudds on PC. I had an interest in it long before I thought I'd ever have the chance to play it. A friend picked up a 3DS a month or two ago, and I got the chance to download and play the demo.

I was very impressed, but at the same time annoyed that a PC release was still not available. Hopefully Mr. Watsham will come to the realization that developing for PC is in his best interests. ;)
