Does this mean that the servers are going to disappear from the game? Noooooo. It's been great having a server to play online with, although I've not been able to play as often as I'd like.

I know we are slacking with the playerload at the moment. Some epic battles took place though and at least some of the time it was a great place for newer players

I hoped we could at least manage to populate the EU server enough to show it's worth keeping it.
But with Ralackk having technical problems at the moment we miss one keyplayer to "rally the masses" for spontanous sessions. Sad enough at the moment I can play fewer than I absolutely would like to, bad timing there.
I hope though GOG will soon find that nothing beats getting blasted by their users (and "support" them in another way) and wants the server back *waves to Paczyk*.
In any case: Great idea to have the server in the first place!

hardly any US users in the IRC. it makes me sad. :(

I've only been able to play a couple of onslaught matches on the EU server, every other time I decide to play the server is either empty or theres 2 or 3 people playing DM... and I prefer team games :(.
I'd like it if the servers stayed, I'd rather play with gogers than random strangers.

I get ~480 ping for the EU server. The US one is a slightly manageable ~200, but no one is online when I go to play.

UT2k4 is a dead game unfortunately. It is the best DM/TDM FPS game in existence IMO. The learning curve is just way too step for most players to pick it up, they get frustrated and rage quit.
Pretty much the only thing you can expect is to get some 1v1's in if you join the common 1v1 servers.

:( the gog servers where why i bought the game in the first place. unfortunately ive had really dodgy working hours so i havent been able to get on during the busier hours recently. :((

Yeah, come on people, I'm like second on the US server, and I suck terribly. This is shameful. Join up on GOG's Xfire group and check the server status to see if anyone's playing, or pop into IRC and try to scare up a game.

So let's start the party on GOG.com's servers! I am waiting! :)
