Anyone know a place to get this game that is not DRM'd up the wazoo? I download the Intel AppUp client to try Angry Birds for free and tried the demo for the game in the thread title. It's fun! Unfortunately google is failing me in finding out if it is for sale anywhere else.

I don't expect the Intel AppUp program to last long and it has activation DRM on it.

According to this - http://spoon.net/Vanessa-Saint-Pierre

You can play 20 Minutes for free or buy it for $5.00 ??
Spoon is a browser plugin.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried about this game's future availability too. Not releasing a proper executable... that's dumb. :|

Yeah, there isn't even a "pirate" version that I could find. I thought maybe I would buy it through Intel's thing and then "pirate" it but that doesn't even seem to be possible.

Oh well, it wasn't some great and unique thing, just a cool little puzzle game.
Hello! I'm the developer behind Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare. I wanted to let you guys know that we will have a proper release of the game available through Big Fish soon. There are also ports of Vanessa for Android and iOS in the works. Thanks for your interest and support.

Cool man, glad to hear about it. When it comes up for sale on a "real" digital store I'll be grabbing it!

I appreciate your support! Getting a game to market is an uphill battle for a small indie studio like mine.

I tend to agree. :-) True story: I woke up one morning with Vanessa's name in my head, and an image of what her world might look like. I started development on the game that day.

Ha... that's neat. Not sure this site has the biggest "casual" game audience, but it's cool of you to address us personally.

I'm sure we have quite a bit in common, casual or not. :-) I'm a big fan of retro games, a fact that tends to make itself apparent in my designs. Vanessa is no exception, and I think you'll find that the soundtrack, character animations, and overall pace of the game is more in line with "good old games" than more modern releases.

I couldn't help but browse the catalog on this site, and was surprised to find a few titles that I regretted not playing the first time around. Stonekeep was one of them. I'll have to finally play it before the WiiWare remake gets released! o_O
