I'll pass this one. P2 was a bit boring though it did have its moments ("Hey! Would you like to sign my petition?"). The expansion was a lot of fun in a very dumb kind of way though, yet it's not something I plan to every replay more than once.

Like Catshade said, you can't. You don't even get the discount if you use the Gift link on the game's page.
Have your friend change his password, and let you login and buy it, then he can log back in and change his password back.
Hopefully he trusts you.
