Get Thief, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Soul Reaver, and more Square Enix titles 50% off!

If you read the tagline, what more is there really to add? Our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/square_enix_weekend_promo_080213]Ultimate Square Enix promo offers you the chance to get games from some of the most exciting series with a nice 50% off discount. Square Enix catalog features some of the most impressive gems in the GOG.com offer. Titles that evoke memories and emotions in thousands and thousands of gamers. The character cast of the Square Enix stable alone is impressive enough to make one's heart race. If GOG.com had a red carpet, celebrities such as Lara Croft, Garret the Master Thief, Agent 47, Kain and Raziel, and JC Denton would arrive to walk it on a limousine marked by Square Enix logo. Let's take a quick look at the featured games, shall we?

Lara Croft is the ever-shining star of the Tomb Raider series. Lately her character has undergone some major changes. Here, we give you a chance to spend some quality time with good--erm--classic Lara. Tomb Raider 1+2+3, Tomb Raider: Last Revelation + Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness sum up all of the miss Croft's early career, for only $4.99 each!

Yet another hero who is a fan of property re-assignment concept, Garret the Thief is now preparing a big return. On GOG.com you can catch up wit all of his adventures, as long as you can keep up with him, as he silently moves through the shadows. Thief Gold, Thief 2: The Metal Age, and Thief 3: The Deadly Shadows let you experience the life of a thievery archmaster, for only $4.99 each!

Also preferring to keep a low-profile, Agent 47 is the main character of the Hitman series. The newest game featuring the bald assassin brought a lot of new ideas to the table, and not all of them met with gamers' appreciation. We give you first two classic Hitman games: Hitman: Codename 47 for only $2.99 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, for only $4.99!

That's only a small taste of the Square Enix title you can get 50% off this weekend. Head out to our Ultimate Square Enix promo page, to check out the whole offer!

Below, you'll find a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

Yeah its quite nice
It's not ultimate without Daikatana...

tinyE: Michigan U.P.
280 inches a year average. Its actually nowhere as bad as it sounds. When you get 280 every year you get to to know how to deal with it. Still, it's fun to scare the piss out of people. It's actually great for business as an innkeeper; more snow, more guest, more money, more games.
Once went to Michigan, and it was closed. Heh heh, sorry, couldn't resist an old W.C. Field-ism there. Yeah, I got a large snowblower, and am used to dealing with snow..not your amounts, but more than I care mess with these days. I always thought it would be kinda neat to run an Inn, or a B&B. I've always enjoyed staying at cozier places like that when traveling. It's funny, I don't really consider myself a huge people person, but when vacationing, and on trips, I really enjoy soaking up the local flavor and interacting with folks. Just makes the whole experience that much more fun.

jamesbuc: Its not a death threat but its also something we can do without. There can be puerile behavior and arguments/disagreements,it's just something that's always going to be around... but there's a line where things turn just nasty, personal and unhelpful to everyone and can actually turn people off using this site (Which, uh, happens to be a bad thing XD).

I'm pretty sure 'I Wish you were dead' is something that crosses that personal boundary and for me, it is unacceptable behavior. I'm sure there are several other people who believe the same way.

On a more positive note: Startopia! I gotta try and grab that :D I used to own it on disc but it got scratched to hell :(
What I always liked about GOG, that they do not interfere in "conversations" unless it's necessary. If you don't like what Licurg does, call him a faggot, downrep him or ignore him and forget his existence.

If gameon feels threatened or insulted, he may always contact authorities.

Just from the fact, GOG staff doesn't do anything to interfere, it doesn't change the fact Licurd is a douchebag and should be called Liturd instead

My issue is how this sort of personal argument can reflect badly on the community as a whole. A new member can easily go along and see that sort of conversation and begin thinking that this is what this community is like as a whole (which is NOT the case at all, loads of awesome people here).

am here since 2009, and GOG staff was always like that. And yet, GOG community forum is still a wonderful place to hang around, where people can discuss, argue, and even insult each other in peace. And it never changed into a pile of vomit Steam forums clearly are.

Maybe it's because average GOG user age is higher (I am 23 and I'm surprised that almost everybody's older than me), I don't know :)

Thank you .
There should be a unwritten rule that if two or more people start to fight they can do it in a private chat, keeping the write fight in a forum thread is unnecessary and is counter-productive, can kill the mood of an interesting discussion.

Wow, you're 23? They way you write I always assumed you were at least 30 and married. :P

tinyE: Hope you have some free time, this isn't a short read but it helped get me in line when I decided to take on the task of getting the whole LOK series. A task which has been made successful due in large part to all the ultra groovy people in this forum.
that's awesome :D

I do get that but over the years GOG has been constantly expanding its user-base and the amount of people who use the site and with those people comes ones who can ruin it for others and not just the ones they get personal with. I havent been here as long as you and I agree, the GOG forum is a lovely place but I would rather not see this behavior ruin it for others. (I be 22 btw and feel like everyones older too. Heh XD)

We will see. :-) GOG userbase is growing steadily (and I'm glad it is), so maybe we will reach a point when the number of trolls will be dangerous but it's not today! ;-)

And most pimple teenagers are already on steam. They don't want to play games that were released before they were born :P

True XD Thank goodness for having an Amiga growing up :D (Still kinda wishes Amiga games were sold here sometimes. The Alien Breed PC ports are poor compared to Amiga ones XP)

jamesbuc: Snip
Glad to see I'm not the only one feeling that way.

Anyway, I won't bother anymore regarding the subject.

Off to buy the remaining legacy of kain game I don't have :-) !
