The game would probably suck as much as the movies did.
Perhaps they will make "Airplane! The Game".

Delixe: It would be an odd mix. I don't personally see Telltale doing the surreal/black comedy that made Tremors such a great movie. The TV series and following movies also struggled to capture that same Tremors feeling. It would take a special writer to do a game of that movie justice.
Hard to disagree with that. It would be a shame if they'd made 'Sam & Max with earthworms'. Another nail in a movie's coffin.
Eh... 'Sam & Max with dinosaurs' coming up in a month or so...
It would only succeed if it revolved around Burt (or Bert, can't remember how its spelled).

And I actually liked the second one as much as the first one.

EDIT: Why stop with Tremors? Robocop needs a decent game, it hasn't had one since Robocop vs. Terminator for Sega Genesis (The best version of it, hands down)

And don't forget:

- He-Men
- She-Ra
- My little Pony
- Lord of the Rings
and a whole "Muppets" series :)

But I would love to see a good Tremors Game... loved all 4 movies and the whole series.

Wait, what? What was wrong with the SNES version?

The Genesis version had really smooth gameplay, excellent graphics, and ditched the comic storyline plot for the most part. Compare the games and tell me which seems more fun:

SNES Version
Genesis Version
I played both - when I was a kid.

I hated the Genesis version. I never felt it was "smooth", in fact, the way Robocop just seemed to slide across tubes pissed me off a lot. Other than the Genesis version having blood, it just didn't feel right.

Eh. You liked it, fine. I just couldn't get into it. :(

orcishgamer: Yeah, this kind of thing has all us Highlander fans laughing, too bad the studios had to milk your franchise instead of letting it bask in its singular glory, like Highlander.

Foxhack: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

No. Nooooonononono. You Highlander fans will get your own little section of hell playing back Highlander: The Source and Highlander 2 day in and day out. At least Tremors only had three sequels. Highlander has ... everything Spoony talked about AND a craptacular Jaguar game BASED ON THE CARTOON.
Had that happened, that would surely be blasphemy. I'm glad it didn't.

Well, there is a version that is 10x worse...

Sega Master System version

Worse that those maybe, but that's pretty good for 8-bit. I just wish that Sega & Nintendo had used the Japanese sound chips for our system models. Ah well.
I think it would be totally awesome! :D

Given the odd casting decisions it's perhaps surprising that Highlander was as good as it was (which is to say: very). That said, Clancy Brown was perfectly cast. "Hello, pretty".

I think it also hit during a time where a story like that was generally desired by a large group of the potential audience. It's the same thing with Bladerunner, in fact. Both movies have also aged well.

Bladerunner is one of my all time favourites. If I had a top five films then it would almost certainly be in there. For an eighties sci fi film that's (loosely) based on a sixties book, that's saying something.
