This is a wonderful feature film project by Dr. Stewart Ashens, and with 15 days to go and under 10,000 USD to go, I'm quite excited to see what will result of this film!

Double Fine Adventure officially named Broken Age

Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster--but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.

Less than 12h left to throw some bucks at the Kyratzes' for Ithaka of the Clouds.

They've decided to put updates/remakes of their previous freeware games as stretch goals. Remake of "The Strange and Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge" is already reached, $500 left to get updates for "The Book of Living Magic" and "The Fabulous Screech".

And $986,500 left to "remake Call of Duty as Marxist text adventure".

Recently released a video of an unboxing of two of their metal miniatures from their new wargame

Featuring metal models with resin dragons (and some other select larger models) the game is a squad based table top wargame which features a blending of traditional dice based tabletop wargaming with a card magic component that lets you build your spelldeck and cast spells in the form of buffs, debuffs, attack, defence and also summoning spells in the game itself - as well as counter spells for use during your opponents turn. This lets you create your own play style - you can go magic heavy; troop/monster heavy or any combination of the two.

They've got quickstart rules up for show on their website with full rules still in the works; a hardback rule book is coming up in the stretch goals along with free rules releases in PDF form (when they are finished). There are also more models on the way as and when they can get them from production to show (Monday should have the Rish Swordsmen up for show).

Note the "red" ones you can see on the main page are all 3D renderings; most are quite finalised although some only show a few poses (troops typically come with 3 different poses) at this stage.



Flight Rising

Browser based dragon game with a focus on breeding, collecting, battling and questing with dragons. A unique draw in the customising options as the game features a massive range of species and colour combinations as well as trinkets and other attachments; so instead of just having the same range of dragons you can create very customised appearances.
With dragon (and familiar) designs from Neondragon off Deviant Art it brings a clean and yet detailed dragon world to life.

Great idea for parents who has been hitting The Wall to long. Think I'm creating a grand new magazine; "People Exposed: Who use their own children to promote ideologies? " :D

Not a new idea but still very wrong morally.

Only if you have your children promote it on KS as their own idea. The metaness of it would be delicious.

The setup (and the quality of graphics) kind of reminds me of Omikron: The Nomad Soul.
