it's interesting what they say about Dead Island, that its Deep Silvers (publisher of DI and DI:R) baby now, as if Techland are done with it.

Dying Light seems to be a more open world zombie game, married to a Mirrors Edge parkour style gameplay, where you can climb up buildings with certain skills and slide through gaps to escape zombies.

Looks cool, but seems to be targetted towards Next Gen consoles and higher end PC's (well higher than mine anyway)
Techland's also got this first-person slasher coming:

Yes they did mention that, thanks for the link :)
Oh, yes - I'm looking forward to Dying Light and Hellraid.

Dead Island was awesome.
Also, even though DI: Riptide looks to be "more of the same", I still eventually do want it - when the price is right.
Well, Dying Light won't really be "everything Dead Island could have been" if it isn't about a family in vacation whose daughter turns into a zombie, preferably in slow motion and in reverse.
Wasn't Riptide supposed to be "everything that Dead Island could have been"? Look how that turned out.

As it's Techland, I'm going to remain very sceptical until I've seen the game itself. They very rarely produce quality games.
I think State of Decay and Dead Linger might actually get it right instead. I just keep remembering the old Dead Island website from 2006 promising, time progression, multiple body detection points, zombies that decay the longer you are playing the game, weeks after, months after. The zombies are not world class athletes. I wonder what ever happened to that game I saw screenshots of in 2006...

State of Decay and Dead Linger could be the two to look forward to the most.
Gunslinger was actually very good, its a shame they chose to make an open world zombie game... instead of an open world take on gunslinger.
Can't say I'm starved for more zombie games. Western games, on the other hand...

Maybe I'll get that Gunslinger game, looks fun.
Its getting good reviews, I think Cartel is the only bad CoJ game tbh.
