Tell us what the last movie you saw was, what it was about and what you thought about it.

For me it was Falling Down. It's about a white collar man played by Michael Douglas who finally has enough with the society he lives in and responds by going absolutely postal. I thought it was an absolute riot.

Now you post.
I want to cheat because I believe the last movie I saw happens to be Mulholland Drive which is about as uninteresting as it gets (not the movie, me having watched it).
Everyone knows what that's about and whether that's worth watching. Well, it seems some people figure it some indictment of Hollywood or something which is a bit puzzling. Whatever.

Maybe I can slip in that I watched the beeb's State of Play (a miniseries) after that. I'd watch that over just about any Hollywood movie (and certianly any Lynch). So here's a recommendation for ya.

That's the one in which he keeps finding bigger weapons? If so I also thought it was a riot as a kid.

A similar thread was updated quite recently: Favorite Films - The Last One You Saw - Recommendations. I recommend continuing there instead, though you are of course free to do a you wish.
I just saw 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' which was a Scandinavian thriller where a famous reporter in the modern day investigates the disappearance of a girl that happened 45 or so years ago in 1966, he is also being spied on via his computer by the titular 'Girl with the dragon tattoo' who works out one of the clues he's stuck on and can't help but team up with him
I was good!

That was a pretty good movie.

OT: Re-watched V for Vendetta. About a seemingly superhuman terrorist who wears a Guy Fawkes mask fighting against a corrupt government. Has one of the best final fight scenes ever, but its obvious left-wing social agenda and a few completely bonkers plot points keep it from being truly legendary.

And, as of 5 minutes ago, just watched 'Shooter'

Basically it's about an ex-Marine sniper who ends up getting framed for an assassination, and goes on to exact revenge on the people who framed him. There were some pretty good parts (there's a part about a forth of the way through where the main character is trying to evade an entire city full of cops, after being shot twice in the chest), and the ending was brutally satisfying, but overall it was fairly forgettable. A decent action movie that lacked personality.

As Zeus from Altered Beast would say: "Rise from your grave."
I haven't seen a movie in theaters since Coriolanus in 2011, which I thought was great. I did watch Toy Story 3 a couple weeks ago because it was on TV though. I'm sure everyone has seen it at least once, but it's still p. great. I'd seen it three times previously and it's still real fuckin' sad. My girlfriend was bawling her eyes out lmbo.
Kick-Ass 2. Not as good as the first, but still pretty good. I rewatched the first one earlier this week, and I'm pretty positive that Hit-Girl is now the most awesome action hero ever depicted on film. Even more awesome than Batman or The Bride.
Iron Man 3 - It was crap. Mind you, my taste for action movies have never been high and have been dwindling for a while now but still, I didn't like it at all. I still like the first one for some reason.

Echelon Conspiracy - This caught my eye when I was tired some days ago and I was just randomly looking at stuff on Netflix. The actors were horrible, the dialogue was weak and predictable but the story was interesting albeit executed poorly.

Far Cry - I don't know why I watched this but I thought it could be fun to watch, Uwe Boll's movies usually fall into so-bad-they-become-kinda-good category but sadly this was rather week in all aspects.
The Worlds End a few weeks ago, it was excellent.

I completely gave up on him after watching Postal halfway through, and a couple of others before that. It was at that point when I realized I could never waste my life more efficiently than by watching his movies and have since made a vow never to watch anything by him ever again as long as I live. I don't care if he evolves enough to win an Oscar some day.
The Shawshank Redemption. My daughter and I have started watching highly rated films according to IMDB. Next will be The Godfather.

This. Altho I did like the second movie just a tad bit more for whatever reason.
yikes, a two year resurrection. Someone's going for a record!
