So when Alice Madness Returns was released,EA made an exclusive pack with the first Alice (American McGee) and they sold it on Origin for a limited time.
The game is also included on all retail version of the game (consolle only),but there's no way to buy the first American McGee's Alice for PC,on Origin or any other site.
The question is:EA WORKED to port,or at least to run the first Alice on modern operative system, why they refuse to sell this version of the game? Why EA is so stupid?
Because they want you to buy new Alice even if you want to play the old one only.
Oh look another EA bashing thread, aren't we getting tired of the EA hate hell hate for publishers in general.

I can buy the new Alice (for five € or so)if they give me the old one.
Maybe as DLC (as the consolle version),but I can buy it if they give me that game.
Don't install Origin, it installs rootkits and tracking devices onto your computer.

It also drinks your milk at nights.
I thought it meant maybe the first Alice would be released on GOG eventually. Last month I got tired of waiting and I bought the retail big box from ebay. I'm not liking it as much as Madness Returns though.
I think it's a least stupid to force origin on you. I wanted to buy Kingdoms of Amalur today in a store (steam is way too expensive for this game) but on the box it said i needed to install origin so I passed. I wonder how many sales EA missed because of that?

For all the faults EA has, which are many, this one I can't hold against them. I don't see this as any different from a game being released only on Steam. Here you actually have a choice, even though the steam version would cost you way more.
Beacuse EA is eeeeviiiiiiillll!!!11!1!1 Muwahahahahahaha (cough..chough...) hahahahah

EA will always be a fun target to shoot at... for the simple fact they really are a bunch of miserable buggers hell bent on exploiting the gaming industry. Their track record for f**king over great companies is more than enough for the abuse to continue.
I assumed it would come to Steam or GOG after a short exclusivity period but obviously that hasn't happened. Their loss really, if they refuse to sell it and I want to play it I will just torrent the damn thing.
I can't even registered an EA game to Origin or EA website. How stupid is that.
