I know I should probably mention this in the Wing Commander forum, but who goes there, right?
Wing Commander 2 is probably one of my favourite all time games, childhood memories and all that. I just finished Secret Missions 1 and 2 and really enjoyed them. I am mentally preparing myself to try, for the first time, Wing Commander 3.
I am not sure I will like it. I am a little cautious of the FMV sequences, I am worried they will be as cheesy as the ones in Command and Conquer. I am also not sure about Luke Skywalker's voice replacing my internal monologue voice as the voice of Maverick. Also, how can they possibly turn the cartoon like people I know and love into real human beings? How can I adjust to that?
I would be interested in thoughts from others who first played and enjoyed the first 2 games, how you felt about the change to FMV and whether it was a good thing or not. Am I just being a little b*tch or should I not play WC3 and not taint my memories of the crew of the Tiger's Claw?
