Lone3wolf: The "Show Desktop" button sat next to the System Tray is annoying, especially as I tend to knock my mouse cursor down in that corner when typing on forums and IM Windows....
"WTF???? Where's my browser gone??? O_o"
You can't even move it to another part of the screen...you either totally disable it, or put up with the screens you're working on disappearing when you don't want them to.
How do you get rid of the Show Desktop button? I'm a big time Win + D user.
tb87670: I retract my statement said earlier though, Linux wins in two ways not one. It is generally faster desktop AND it's free. It just refuses to work with random pieces of hardware and can't run games.............
Easy solution. Give up games. ;)
I wish I could take that advice too, or I wouldn't even have Windows. But I still hugely prefer using Linux most of the time.
I just like the whole philosophy. I can do whatever I want, and not what Microsoft wants me to do. Like in my above post, I can't figure out how to get rid of that ugly Show Desktop button. And don't get me started on how painful it was to get rid of a 100mb partition that Windows thought it needed on my drive.
