Has anyone else but me experienced this?

I just encountered Iorveth for the first time and all of the sudden, the game stops making save games.

It's not because im in battle, or anything, it say's "game saved" but no new save games to load are made. I've tried reinstalling, patching and starting a new game - but it doesnt create new save games. Which of course makes it impossible to play the game.
I've also tried to locate the save games to see if i just needed "new space", but can't find them.
Any thoughts or experiences on this?

I think there's a limit on saves before the game just overwrites the old ones.

Am I an ass for bringing up the whole "TW2 has its own forum"?

If not, check under community and there is a list of forums for games that you own.

I know, but there's guidelines at the very top. They should add one that specifically addresses all new witchers or something. Its just proper etiquette and I'm just in an assholy mood.
