The forum feels not that much different since the beta til now except with a lot more faces and more topics which is nice to see.

The forum here is always fun to read and i tend to find it one of the best forums to come too to relax and have a good time.
Imagine that guy DMing you some D&D - it would start off all 'OMG this guy is AWESOME!!!11!11!' but then the strange penis fixation would kick in and you're end up in pervo bizarro world, feeling cheap and violated by the time the evening was through!

Isn't that the newest release on Kinkygames.cum.bz ?

I take it you never played a game of Paranoia :D

I remember when Ralackk first got 4 stars and everyone was talking about the special surprise and at what level the next star gets added. That and the weclock posts and threads and redirecting users to the wishlist every 3 threads.

I guess most of my history with GOG is more closely tied to the IRC channel than the forums: weGame Bill, early Judas (before he vanished), banning the first troll from there (can't remember his name) and the drama that created.

Heh, that's the crazy comedy tabletop RPG set in a distopian future controlled by an AI where the 'Paranoia' is about rooting out who's a mutant with strange powers and EVERYONE is secrently a mutant with strange powers! Oh and all the chars get a whole strack of clones ready to go for whne they get killed because they get killed A LOT
No, I never actually got to play it but always thought it would be fun to try - does it show?

Yeah, that's the one, and yes, if you have a good DM then it is an awesome awesome experience.

The last time I played it over IRC and had a blast, so you can imagine how much fun playing it in real life is.
I remember the old GOG. It wasn't like this at all. Back then we spent a lot of time bashing Steam, wondering when our favorite old games would come out, talking about how GOG used to be better, and complaining about how irritating our forum trolls could be.
I remember when it was good middle aged games....

The hamster speaks much wisdom.

I find most hamsters have great wisdom..

I consider myself a GOG veteran and joined not long after seeing an article about them in PC Gamer. I logged on and joined up that very same day. Back then GOG had less than 75 games or so and now look at the catalog (grats GOG) I've only been posting on the forums since about last year tho..spent all my time playing games..lol
I remember monks, a goofy meme, and some backlash.

I remember seeing an article on PC Gamer about GOG, and I thought it would be a cool idea but fail because everyone would just download their old games for free.

Then I checked back around the time they released Duke 3D and thought that was cool, but didn't make an account, checked back when they released Blood and flipped out, but I still didn't make an account.

Checked back again, and was really surprised to see the site still up and signed up. A number of months later GOG did their stunt.
I remember nice videos of battle crys and magic tricks.
i remembered the old gog when people spent most of the time asking around on how the gog site was like games on gog then , what else could be added, wishlist stuff ,finding out extra info on the gog games, cool real life topics.......then came the piracy topic...other sites talks...drm crap...crappy news... went all downhill from there.

lots of good topics were there but i guess the real change took place from that crappy announcement that gog will shut down....people became less serious after that on gog and trolled on everything else.

.........rare to see any good topics these days at all specially on gog site or games.....
My first episode of gogs... That was fun.
