If you bugger up flashing the mobo it can bugger it up permanently. The BIOS isn't exactly as easy to reinstall as Windows. Which is why you'd only consider flashing it if you really needed to.

Haha well consider it your first new word of the day :P. The BIOS chip was welded inside the socket so I couldn't just replace it either.

I hear ya though. I wasn't driving until I was 29. Playing Hard Drivin and Carmageddon really paid off. Aced the written test without reading the handbook and passed the driver portion the first time. No accidents though but almost got side swiped by a guy on the way to a movie theater that night celebrating.
