Ok, it is not good example at all but this is video from very close where I have to live. The tram station they are dismantling is about 200 meters off our apartment. I would use that tram to get into the center of city if I was using trams.

This one is better. It's from city I was born in and I where I can't unfortunately live right now. :-(

JudasIscariot: More like: "Someone forgot to take out the garbage on this street. OK kids, this is a bad neighbourhood. Let's get out of here before the sun goes down!" Nothing offensive :D

Although getting randomly pounced by women could work as well...they don't have to be blonde :D

AFnord: That is the idea that most people seem to have about Sweden. I only wish it was that good :(

And believe me when i say that the first thought when you hit the ground in a nightclub because some girl pounced you is not "oh nice, a girl pounced me", it is "Ow, that hurts!". Your second thought will either be that the floor is all icky because people have spilled beer, cider and who knows what on it or "Ow, that hurts!" again, when someone steps on your hand. Then the person who pounced you will enter your thoughts, but by then, you don't really like that person, because of what she has put you through.
So what you're saying is that you have feral Swedish womens? :D

A walking distance from where I live, this is our version of the Alps, the highest point in Helsinki!

It is called "Malminkartanon jätemäki", translated "Trash hill of Malminkartano". Some scholars believe the name comes from the fact that it is indeed a hill made of garbage covered with soil, others believe it comes from the white trash living in the area.

Every summer dozens, if not hundreds, of people climb all the way up to the top to enjoy the magnificent scenery over Helsinki. In winter hardly anyone does, you'd have to be pretty stupid to climb it in knee deep snow.

Navagon: Here's a totally authentic tourism video about my home town.
One side of my family is almost entirely from Devon. I spent a lot of my childhood there in Torquay (and in Paignton, and Dawlish, and Teignmouth...)

Was there a few months ago. Shame how it's got a bit rundown over the years...

Yeah, there's no money and what there is gets invested badly. Unemployment is pretty rampant throughout the bay area. It's definitely seen better days.
This is where we live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbk81X6WHA4
Slightly sped up impression.
Winter wonderland.
