I've been having this problem since I recently installed Neverwinter Nights again. Whenever I try to start a game (using the Start New Internet/LAN Game), I can't get past the place where you choose a module to load. After choosing the module to load, when trying to host a game, I get the following message:
Attempting to find server.
Connection to server has failed.
Server is not responding (timed out).
I can still join persistent words or games hosted by other people. Also, the function above works normally on another laptop in my network, under the same router and everything (The Start New Internet/LAN game works perfectly fine on that laptop.)
Turning off all my firewalls, does nothing to help with the issue. Neither has port forwarding. Anyone know what I should do and/or what might be up with this? (This isn't a problem of people being unable to connect to me like I have read about in other posts. I can't even start the Internet/LAN Game to begin with. Any help would be appreciated.
If it helps, I use Windows 7. On another note, I can create a joinable game by nwserver.exe. This problem only occurs under the specific circumstances explained above.
