Just got my CD key today!

Also, i noticed that the date sent on the email was on November 8, Monday. How does an email take 2 days to arrive?
Well..if they had problem with a server...then thats why probably...

The e-mail got "stuck" somewhere on the way....

I have a similar problem with the webmail that I use. Generally it is slow so I don't know why I use it. Sometimes it takes more than a day to get an e-mail....doh....
I've been waiting for 2 weeks now... kinda sick of waiting... I like the game selection but the wait time for support makes me very.... unsatisfied.
I bought the game two weeks ago, and immediately requested a key. After a week with no response, I sent a second request. Another week has passed, still no key.
I have been contemplating purchasing this, simply for ease of install, and the convenient way it is packed and was curious, will my CD Keys from my Neverwinter Nights: Diamond [DVD-ROM] work for multiplayer, or will I need to go through GOG to get new keys?
jlg6184,
they should yes.....

To reaffirm with certainty, your old CD keys will work with the GOG install, simply replace the nwncdkey.ini file (or manually replace the keys if you do not have the file handy).

Thank you. I guess it isn't too big of a deal with GOG supplying keys and all, but I was just curious. Not to try to figure out a decent way to explain to the wife why I would need to purchase a game I already purchased a year or so back, lol.

Very same here :D
After all the big leap in my case it's shortening install time from 1 day (NWN+XP1+XP2+Premium's+patches to 1.69+reboots) to less than half an hour... ;)

Same MP issue with standard GOG CD keys (Diamond edition) also.
I have already installed NWN Diamond a couple of times, trying to argue why it doesn't go MP: have I to reinstall it again, or modifying nwncdkey.ini now with my old keys (and registering them again in nwn.bioware.com?) will be enough to have it work?
Ulisse1964,
if you want to play multiplayer you have two choices:

1) Edit nwncdkey.ini with your old keys (as you said)

or

2) Get new CD-keys from GOG by following the instructions on their support page for NWN1.

To add to the above, whether you choose to use your old keys or wait until your requested CD Keys come through, you can use whichever CD keys you wish when you log into multiplayer, freely swapping them without need to add them to your BioWare profile.

Thank you both!
I tried this evening changing the .ini file with my old keys, and it seems to succeed: I'm given the character creation panel :)
In any case, I've also asked for GOG keys just because "I bought them".
GOG is certainly not ignoring the CD requests. I came here to say that while it did take me a few days to get it, I got a personal note from a staff member apologizing for the delay along with my CD key. In my opinion that is a great level of service for an online transaction and certainly speaks well of GOG.
Delay: less than a day from GOG to actually have the keys.
Very good :D
I am happy to say that I received my CD key yesterday, just over 3 weeks after my original request. They may be a bit slow, but they are processing our requests.

[edit] Sorry, 2 weeks. I made three requests, at one-week intervals. I made the classic "off by one/fencepost" error. The last request was this past weekend.
