Hi, I just start this game. One issue is that I am able able detect traps, but my companions keep walking on the trap though it's spotted. Any way to avoid this? Thanks!

Nope, you have to disarm them.

One way to prevent your henchmen from walking into traps that you've detected is to have them stand their ground. Just right-click on your companion to bring up the radial menu and select "stand your ground" or something similar. Then you can go about disabling the trap if you have the ranks for it.

Yes, this is the best option by far.

You can also do this more quickly and to all henchmen at once by using the voice commands, accessed by pushing the V button. (by default.) Pressing V, W, X will tell all henchmen to stop immediately.

It's a neat and not that well known feature of the game that henchmen listen to voice commands. They obey all the commands that have an * asterisk next to them in the menu.

If you have a rogue henchman, you can also use the radial wheel to tell them to disarm the trap. The option is somewhere in the 11 o' clock bubble of the radial menu. (Most of the time, rogue henchmen do this automatically, but sometimes they need a bit of a push.)

Ha! This is indeed very useful .Never though of that. What I did was to unsummon the walking creatures and tell the henchmen to follow, and walk slowly so that the trap wouldn't be triggered.
