Hello GoG! For those of you just picking up NWN now, I welcome you to the community! You've started playing at an awesome time, because Culling of Nightmares has just returned, and is now back in development!
"What the heck is Culling of Nightmares", you might be asking yourself. Well, quite simply, it is an online Action-Story persistent world server, inspired by the game Dark Souls.
Redevelopment has begun from November 2014 onwards, with multiple weekly updates! Come on by and join our new community!

Noteworthy features
-Only being able to rest at 'checkpoint' campfires makes for tactical gameplay and decision making when choosing spells and abilities.
-Healing potions that scale with your Heal skill, so you know they'll be useful throughout the whole game.
-Many "x use per day" items to be found to diversify your skillbar, and add more options to the classes who lack them.
-Active rebalancing of almost every spell in the game to add usefulness and longevity.
-Some enemies can spawn with random Magic, Rare, and Legendary items.
-Discovery Points system will reward those who love the adventure and examine every corner of every map. As you rack up Discovery Points you will have access to secret areas and items.
-Main story quest line with numerous dungeons and dialogues.
