My NWN install has gotten extremely slow so I did some troubleshooting to figure out what was going on. I've uninstalled and reinstalled NWN, NWNCX and the CEP several times; and I think I finally determined that NWNCX is slowing my game down somehow.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Fresh install NWN 1.6.9A via GOG. Test NWN, game performs fine.
2. Download NWNCX via neverwinternights dot info
3a. Copy NWNCX.dll, nwncx_serverlist.dll, nwncx_disablems.dll and NWNCX_Loader.exe to C:\GOG Games\NWN Diamond
3b. I've also tried copying all the nwncx_*.dlls to my NWN directory.
4a. Start game. Select single player, Select module.
4b. Try multiplayer.
5. In any case, game runs super slow and laggy. 1-2 fps at times.
6. Exit to main menu, menu is also super laggy.
8. Check the Windows Task Manager. RAM, CPU, Disk have plenty of overhead.

Has anyone else run into this? Not sure if my video card is at fault here, or if GOG's customizations are interacting poorly.

I'm running Windows 10, 64-bit, latest version. Older Dell Inspiron laptop. My video card is Intel HD Graphics 4000.

Before this, I played NWN via a client from Steam but I stopped about 9 months ago. It worked fine back then.
