Hello everyone,

I recently pre-ordered The Witcher 2 and downloaded the bonus soundtrack files. I noticed that the metadata for the MP3 files does not include titles for the tracks. This makes me sad. Any chance someone out there knows the titles to these songs?

Thanks!

Yes. This would be nice to know. Also, will high resolution album art be available for the soundtrack? I know high resolution art for the original soundtrack was next to impossible to locate.

I'd actually like to know this as well. My iTunes entry for this soundtrack gives me shivers when I see "Bonus Track #" :D

I know exactly what you mean. My music library must be perfect!
The first bonus track (length 1:19) is "Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz - Dragon Battle". There once was a download link for that one in some newsletter, where the file was named properly.

I'd also appreciate titles for the other tracks. Someone from gog, maybe? :)

I listened those gog-bonustracks, well, wasn't those pretty much same musics what were in a normal soundtrack?

Edit: Or is my soundtrack missing something? =)

OK..., check in this thread - http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/unique_bonus_soundtrack
Witcher soundtrack and many more will make hopefully skyrim also the masterpeace it should be. I mean oblivion. So fucking big world and seven..not horrible but hellish tracks.
One might be named "ladybird" or something; the music that plays at the end when Geralt and Triss(and Roche or Iorveth if you helped) leaving Loc Muinne is named "Ladybird" and that music is GOG bonus track 4's cut version.
Are you guys referring to those 5 bonus songs included in the GOG release?
Track 1 is called 'Dragon Battle' (it was given out in a newsletter with that name at least)
Track 2 is called 'By The King's Will' (it's also one of the Empik pre-order tracks & someone uploaded it to youtube along the others. Google translates its name to "The will of the King")
Track 3 I suspect is an early version of 'A Nearly Peaceful Place' as the two are very similar but the bonus track version isn't used in the game AFAIK. It's not in any of the music files extracted from the game anyway.
Track 4 appears to be another variation of the main theme, also not used in the game AFAIK

Yes, we're wondering what the titles of the 4 bonus songs are, and who composed each track.

One of them is the Dragon Battle of Kryzstof Wierzynkiewicz and another one of them is the extended version of the Ladybird Sound Track which plays at the end of the game so the title must be related to Ladybird but i don't know who composed it though and the other two, i have no idea.
I'm working on getting those track names for you guys, please be patient.

EDIT:

01_gog_bonus_track - Funny story but this one doesn't actually have a name
02_gog_bonus_track - "By the King's Will"
03_gog_bonus_track - "A Nearly Peaceful Place"
04_gog_bonus_track - "Assassins Theme"

Hope this helps.
