So Geralt's in prison with Phillipa, when Stennis comes in to interogate Phillippa. After Stennis askes Phillippa some questions he says to her to look him in the eyes and tell him the truth. She looks away. Then Stennis, who is majorly pissed off, tells his torturer to gouge out Phillippa's eyes which the torturer does. UGH! Its been 2 weeks since I've seen this cutscene and it still bothers me.

I usually like all the blood and guts, hacking off heads, etc. but this scene was truly hard to take.

Anyone else feel the same?

Yes. I'm usually fine with blood and gore and limbs everywhere, but that scene was so messed up. Especially because you can sort of see the guards doing it. I saw that scene once and skipped the hell out of it on my next play-throughs D:

I had a hard time agree with developer when they portray the attitude of the witcher and iorveth when they agree to rescue her. While Philipia was wrong, she may not be neccessay evil. Nevertheless, it is not necessary to treat her with disdain after what happened to her.

Indeed I feel that it is the most horrible set-back of this game.

I'm really not that squeamish with other things. It is just the "eye" thing. I had to shutoff Slum Dog Millionaire when they put hot spoons on the kid's eyes.....

well, philippa served in redania for decades and decades. she watched radovid grow up, and apparently got on his bad side.

stennis and radovid do have similar character models and armor, but they're not identical.

hopefully the scene makes more sense now, lol

That was Radovid, not Stennis. They don't look that much alike, just the baldness. That and.... (SPOILERS) Stennis was dead in my play through. :p
