MdotMania: Like I said earlier I thought it was going to be a RPG of the likes that have been released for the past 5 years and I 'think' I was hoping for too much! But it is 2011 and I thought video games were made nowadays with more longevity in mind.
Seeing that screenshot bought back fond memories. A lot fonder memories than I will have from TW2.
well maybe you are not into games. Maybe that is good. You are into doing school homework because a game such as the Witcher is too silly and childish ?
maybe you want to head to GOG game catalogue to buy the old games ?
I am sure that it costs waaaaaaay more to make a modern game with full voice over in more than 3 languages, and 3D graphics.
Well, WC 1 has 6 acts or so. Neverwinter Night has 10 acts. Newer games such as Diablo, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Dragon Age.... I say have 1 act.
MdotMania: If they put all the separate paths into 1 play through, changed the storyline a little and let you play Iorath's side, Roaches side, rescue Triss and the King's heir then it would be an actual game but having to play multiple walkthrough's just to get the best out of the game is a bit of a farce. That's not longevity, that's a lazy development team!!
if you do that, there is nothing such as "critical choice". You want to be a hero? A hero pays price dude.
You cannot defeat the dragon, then save Saskia, and in no time, save your lover Triss, and the king's daughter.
Silly you are
