Attached is how the configuration dialog looks to me. Elements seem to be positioned over each other.

I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64bit, my font is set to "Medium - 125%".

Also any GOG installer to date shows misaligned elements.

Anyone got a screenshot of a normal version? Can this please be fixed?

I have exactly the same issue
You must set DPI to Smaller - 100% as stated in the official FAQ: http://www.en.thewitcher.com/support/faq/

Yeah of course, I'm almost feeling nerdrage going through my blood because of developers not caring about their customers.

:-(

So, I'm not gonna change my systems DPI setting because everything else gets unreadable for me which is frankly unacceptable.

Btw, there's how the dialog looks with the advanced settings which I managed to discover after fiddling around.

Well, you sort of forfeit your right to complain when you're offered an easy workaround and refuse to use it.

Yeah, they should fix it. No, you are not entitled to your grievance.
Btw, on my screenshot there's on option I can't read. Above is "Dangling Objects Limit" and below "Vertial Sync". What is there?

Changing DPI requires me to log off/on which I currently can't as I've some jobs running in the background which will take a few hours :-(

Changing this setting to "Enabled" drops my FPS from > 70 to around 20.

That's "Ubersampling". If you are getting 20 fps with it on, you're doing very well indeed. Disable it.
The config tool is rather stupid itself, it says my RadeonHD 4890 only has 768MB (it has 1GB)
I have the same problem. HD6870
Luckily I can still adjust most settings.
