Campin: I remember in the Flotsam shop stalls were not manned at night or early in the morning, also there seemed like less people on the streets. Then in Lobinden there were fires and more guards at night it seemed. But in Henselts camp there always seemed to be the same people around the same camp fires all day and night with the exception of a few "named" characters and this was really true for Roches camp where only him and Ves ever slept and his solders always seemed to be training no matter when you arrived. And in chapter 3, I played most of the Chapter at night and I only realized it was night when I looked at my "sundial", everyone was awake and active like it was the middle of the day and of course it seemed very bright for the middle of the night... but maybe that was my computer (or the game on my computer) not registering night properly cause night never seemed to be "truly" dark... more like someone just "filtered" the sun for most of it...
I just noticed this cause in Witcher 1 night always seemed more dangerous with different monsters and more of a creepy atmosphere.... I remember in Vizima's Temple Quarter you would never mistake night over day.... It was not so much the lighting, they just felt different.
EDIT: it occurred to me that Witchers are supposed to have enhanced night vision so that's why night never seemed as dark... the developers, maybe, intended it that way?
