A save file in that condition should be useful for diagnosing and fixing.

Kaddock: I'm down in the cave for the elf Malena quest, and I was doing away with tons of nekkers... I went to bust out a bomb, and all of the sudden was not able to use any of the keyboard controls! The only one that works is esc for the menu. The mouse will rotate the camera, but nothing else. I managed to overwrite my latest save in this state! Every other element looks fine. Is there a way to debug this somehow? If not, the last auto-save before my save was 1hr 41min in the past. :-(
