Yeah, I've been waiting to see Roach(translation they chose for the 2 translated books) in one of these games. Maybe next time!

Does a horse count as pet?

Hitting "y" (quertz keyboard) or "z" (querty keyboard) activates the medallion, highlighting every lootable container in the near vicinity.
There's really no reason for this complaint. ;)

May not sound like much, but after slaying 12 baddies in an area, collecting loot is seriously a chore.

maybe rpg games aren't for you then. in shooter games, you pick up whatever you step over.
bye.

Targeting is a bit of a hassle, but other than that, looting is a breeze in this game.

I say CDPR should stay on their way. And if that means I have to collect loot manually in The Witcher 5 then so be it. :D

Haha... I know what you're thinking.. Torchlight was the first thing that occurred to me when I saw the word "loot" with the word "pet". xD

introducing horse is a good idea , i think 'cause:
1. it will act as movable storage which sounds more credible than a storage box in each chapter the contents of which would magically transport to the stroage box in next chapter.
2. they can add a weight limit on the items that the horse can carry as well ( maybe around 300) so that we still have to prioritise a bit on which stuff should be kept and which should be let go.

He magically appear from thin air? Good gameplay, poor realism.
Does he follow you around, with problems like locations inaccessible to horses and maybe dieing from monsters in the forest? Good realism, poor gameplay.
How is the horse aquired? You can find one in the story and keep him the whole game, so you can grow some friendship with him? Or you can freely buy horses in city, replacing your anonimous additional-bag-slave whenever you want? Or you can steal them around like in Oblivion?
I really can't fit a horse in this game, honestly.
On the other hand, I'd love to have a space hamster in game!

To the OP no offense but you should go play some game that isn't just for the mature people.
@Kitako
Actually they can implement the horse riding in game if, for example, you aren't automatically transferred to the next act's area once you finish, but instead you use a horse to travel there. Travel on the highway, ofcourse, which shouldn't have any monsters or at least not as many as the wilderness has. I'd like a scene where Geralt pulls roach, crossing the river.
