I just got a new PC that's got more than enough bells and whistles to run the witcher 2 maxxed out, only thing is, it has an HD 2900 XT as the placeholder card for the next few months (whilst I pay off for the rest of the PC itself), would the 2900 XT be able to run the witcher 2 at all? What if I overclock it? Thanks for any answers :)

The 2900 XT is better than the minimum-spec ATI card (the 3850), so it may even be good enough for medium settings (especially if it is the 1GB GDDR4 model).

lol it is the 1gb version. Thanks man, you just made my day lol. I paid 900 bucks for a 6-core amd phenom II, 8 gigs of ram (DDR3 I think) liquid cooling, a really good dl-dvd burner, and 350 gb HDD (placeholder for now). You just made me night lol
