So here is the problem. i cannot open the options menu from the launcher! the launcher just disappears, but the icon remains in the task-bar. it can then only be closed through task manager. i tried running the configurator.exe (as administrator) but nothing happens, there are no processes related showing in task manager.

not being able to configure is resulting in lots of problems including missing text, bad graphics and audio issues. i basically cant play the game, and I'm trying to prepare for the witcher 3.

it is worth noting there is no help on the internet for this problem, just empty searches. i have emailed both CD project red and GOG.com but have not heard back

Any help would be much appreciated.
