I loved the opening cinematic from the first game. It looked awesome, it was a great way to show your friends what the game was about, and it ended up having to do with the story you took part in.

I wish the second game had such an opening. Or, at the very least, that I didn't have to hit escape 5 times to get to the main menu.

I don't have a link. Check the mod thread. There is a mod to skip the intro movies.

Skipping all those logos would be awesome.

As for the opening cinematics, they've become a bit more interactive this time around: it's the prologue.

Also, the first game needed to explain what a witcher was, because nobody knew. I suppose people playing this without having played the first still won't know, but maybe they should be playing the original first anyway.
