I love just about everything about the Full Combat Rebalance mod, except this one thing. I've been able to find and change other more minor elements of the mod just to personalize it a bit, but I'm pretty new to modding and really need help tracking down this specific thing.
The creator put it in to keep people from breaking immersion by just rolling behind stuff and hitting them that way constantly, but because of the way parrying works in the mod, just getting lucky and being able to attack an enemy's back in the flow of combat normally without exploiting the AI ends up getting punished arbitrarily, especially on the higher difficulties. It's just as bad for my immersion to see an enemy instantly rotate to meet a lucky back attack as it is to just decide to go back to the vanilla game and only ever hit things in the back. Alas, I like every other thing the mod does more than the vanilla game so I won't be going back.
If I need to use REDkit I have it installed, and I've got Gibbed's RED tools which is how I've been able to look through most of the game files so far, but I still haven't found what I'm looking for. If anyone could point me toward the file I need to search through or can tell me what exactly I need to edit that would be EXTREMELY helpful.
