I purchased The Witcher 1 and 2 for PC and made an attempt to install them. In the process, I received a message indicating:
"The file could not be located in the installer's folder. Please make sure that the file is in the correct folder, or specify its current location."
After doing research, it appears that I'm going to have to use GOG's installer program called Galaxy in order to get the process going and I gotta say I'm having a real problem with this. I don't have this installer on my PC at all as I do NOT want to use it. I'm very capable of manually installing the games myself as long as I have a path and/or instructions needed to get the job done. I came to GOG because I do not want "middle man BS" and/or their bloatware on my computer. I was under the impression that this was possible if I purchased my games from here. I'm going to be VERY angry if it turns out that I have to use a third party installer client in order to play the games I bought. Mad enough to request a refund for false advertising.
Does someone know a way to install The Witcher 1 and 2 manually using only the data I received from 'My Collection' page? Is this even possible? Any help will be appreciated. Please understand, again, that I do not have a Galaxy folder because this program has never been downloaded and installed on my PC. Referring me to this folder won't help me.
