I have played through the game recently on Iorveth's path and I was wondering
if a second playthrugh is worth it. I liked Iorveth a lot and the cause I fought for but
the ending was rather unsatisfying for me.

Hence is it worth it to play it through another time but this time on Roches path?

If yes, I probably will play it again before starting Witcher 3, I was curious anyway how certain things bechance on the other side of the mist. :-)

Best regards

i found that by playing both paths you get both sides of the story. i played iorveth first then roche and i found that it answered alot of questions. i think its worth it.
You HAVE to have another playthrough. The other path with Roche, makes 2/3 of the game entirely different for you! Different act 2 quest, entirely different quests, even act 3 differs in some ways (concerning the main quest line and not only)... Witcher 2 has like 36 different ending situations/states! Based on different in-game decisions! Hell, you find even different crafting diagrams for armor and gear, if you go different path... Have at it!
I recently replayed the game taking Iorveth's path, I highly recommend you play it with Roché too although I would recommend waiting a while. A replay immediately after a playthrough is less valuable, you should give it some time so you forget the story. ;)
I also recommend trying the other path at some point. I did Roche's path the first time I played, then returned for Iorveth's path after a long break playing other games. The prologue and first chapter are basically the same, but after that things are very different, and it's worth seeing both sides of the story. If you're really interested to try the other path right now, you can re-load a save from the end of Chapter 1 to avoid playing the prologue and chapter 1 again. But, it's also a good opportunity to try different skills for Geralt, so you might want to start from the beginning anyway.
Yes and think about it what if there was only one way to play?

i would say yes, a 2nd playthrough is good you can do the opposite path, and try a new character. I think 2 is a good number, 1 playthrough each path. Maybe warrior and mage, or an alchemy build. There are 4 types of builds really go with something totally new. (warrior, mage, alchemy, or combo)
