Hi folks,

Just installed the game, and I can't run it because I get a bunch of errors relating to missing CSV files:

Unable to load cooked 'globals\controls.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\game_inputs_order.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\attribute_types.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\sound_materials.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\music.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\gui\fonts\fonts.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.

I ran the installation manually (the downloader seems to try to launch the first bin file, not the exe), and the integrity check seems to do OK. The installation proper does not throw any errors, but it does take something like 45 minutes.

Anyways, currently re-installing, is this an issue that is common? Searching the gog forums doesn't seem to turn anything up.

Not unheard of, but not extremely common.

Don't think that thread totally explains it, but maybe it will shed some light.

What version (vendor) is your game?

My advice would be to reinstall and NOT USE launcher.exe until you have fully patched manually.

I don't know why, but I think that might get it for ya.

Yeah, I found that thread, and a similar one over on the steam forums. I have the GoG version of the game.

The re-install seems to have worked. The files definitely still aren't there, but the game no longer complains. Go figure?

Sounds like exactly the results others had. Strange but good...I guess.
