VoodooEconomist: I've asked the question on the Witcher forum, will post any sensible answers back here.

Thank a lot for asking. =)
I played Enhanced Edition a little in English mode and it really stripped the dialog of a lot of the dark humor and personality that made me love it. I'd love to get the Polish version through GOG, I definitely can't get it through gram.pl.

Maybe, we'll see a Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition but I'd rather not have to wait for it.

While it is still unclear whether or not English subs will be available on the Polish retail copy, the Polish store EMPiK which does handle international shipping, does have the Premium edition available for pre-order here:

Still waiting for CDP to reply, if some of you bump the abovementioned topic, maybe it'll get noticed. If not, I'm sending them tons of e-mails soon.

EDIT:

CDP RED has spoken! Unofficial, but still:

[i]Hi guys! Probably the voice-overs will be limited to regions (not always equal to one country) so still, there's a possibility for the Polish (and other) VO to be available in other countries. Please note it's not officially communicated yet and still needs a confirmation from our side. I hope every country will get something more than only native language pack.

Thank for posting Voodoo, was about to but seem like you were keeping a much closer eye on the issue then me, since of much earlier coming back with the answer. =p
To all interested, who still don't know: it has been officially confirmed, that after the optional registration the English and Polish language packs will be available free of charge! More info arround the 13 minute mark here: http://tw2.thewitcher.com/#video/0_1

Providing you agree to register the game of course, then yes.

OK I see I'll definetly register then :) Thanks! Dzieki! :)
Great, thanks for keeping us informed Voodoo!
This is great! I played the first game in Russian, the voice acting there was far superior to any other Russian-dubbed game I'd ever seen (it was the only game I didn't play in English given the choice). And I've read some unfavourable reviews of the English dub. Having an original Polish dub is a good alternative even though I don't understand the language. I was somewhat anxious, because GOG didn't announce neither Polish nor Russian.

It's worth noting, that this time CDPR decided to write the scrpit in both Polish and English simultaneously instead of translating. So I cannot yet say anything about the voiceacting, but the writing in the English vershion should be much better than in the first installment of the series =)

Does it mean GoG version will include Polish language or not?

It's considered a bonus goodie for those, who decide to register. So while the game you can now download 95% of does not have the Polish language pack, you'll be able to register and download it seperately after release. Of course registration is free, and entitles you to all released DLC, autopatching, and other fun stuff, but it's 100% voluntary.
