What has happened to the patches for Wittcher 2 on Linux; a few weeks ago I looked in and the beta patch for the latest EON build was downloadable as small update. But today when I wantto download it to play I find I have to download the entire 20Gb game again.

Surely GOG can provide a patch instead of the ridiculousness that is downloading the whole game again, not all of us have unlimited download limits...
