Downloaded the game Nov. 25-28 days, from use browser. This latest v3.4.0.25 (V2/Vx??) Windows installation packages bad!!! This "setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-11.bin" file not 563MB-s, bigger, file size 608MB! (638312288byte) OS: Win XP SP3. This installer included external Redist files (DirectX, VC++, NETFX 4.0) not extracted from temporary folder for installation progress. And not executed patch (setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25.bin) file. Installer integrity check use installer ok. No CRC-errors.

Downloaded (bad package) v3.4.0.25 V2? setup exe file size 869kB. Older (good?) v3.4.0.25 setup exe file size 862kB

Install the game from any folders, separated installation fies in:

Variation A:
DVD1: setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25..exe, setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25.bin, setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-11.bin, setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-1.bin, setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-2.bin
DVD2: setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-3/4/5.bin
DVD3: setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-6/7/8.bin
DVD4: setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-9/10.bin

Installing the game, wait from 70-75min, get error message: Error creating INI entry in file "C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 2 Extended Edition\unins000.ini". Click Rety to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway, or Abort to cancel installation
and "Invalid Opcode" error messages. (Check screenshots and Setup Log files). Clicking Ignore button 3-4* and finishing installation. Installed game size 22.7GB (24 452 616 052byte)

Put all instalaltion files from to one folder, install game, get error massage again. This installer not supported XP SP3?

There are a lot of people giving away codes for Witcher 2 for free as these codes expire on 2014-12-31 and they already have the game. If I were you I would just get one of those instead of bothering with the GOG support.
