I updated my GOG release from the patch released from The Witcher.com, because I couldn't find the one automatically downloaded. Though I now know its downloaded to the Witcher 2 directory usually located in the My Documents folder.

However after applying the patch is the DLC option supposed to disappear? Or is the game treating it as if I am running an illegal copy?

Yeah, that option disappears with 1.2.
The patch includes all the DLC for everyone.

Then how is one supposed to get the polish voice overs?
