Hello everyone.

I'm new to pc gaming and I'm having a few issues with my Enhanced Edition of Witcher 2 for Mac (Os X Yosemite 10.10.5). I already messaged Support but still haven't been able to solve this...

I've only started playing but can't save any of my progress. Even when I select the "Save" option and a legend appears that says "Game Saved" my data doesn't ever reappear when I go to the "Load Game" section of the Main Menu.

I was told to search the directory where the files are saved ("Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.TheWitcher2/Game Documents/Witcher 2/gamesaves") but it doesn't exist.

Then I was told to manually make a folder for the game files to be saved but I did and nothing really happened. I already uninstalled the game and downloaded it again. Same problem.

Is it somehow related to the game file not being unbundled? Maybe? And if not, any ideas on how to proceed?

I was also unable to load my saves from "The Witcher 1" which is also on my computer and worked just fine. Again, directory with saved files doesn't exist, though once I run it everything's in order.

I'm very new to playing on a Mac, so I'm at a complete loss here. Is there maybe something I should be doing after downloading/installing the game?

One issue that springs to mind is when you first installed the game. I'm pretty sure it suggests load and save locations. If so, uninstall and reload the game, this time, reading each panel carefully.

You can try creating the folder at that location. I should add that my game saves are saved in my Documents folder.

I have found the save feature to be occasionally iffy. Sometimes over writing earlier save files, sometimes creating new ones.
