Disclaimer: I can't find a forum for Witcher 3 so I'm posting here. If I'm not suppose to please let me know the proper forum. There's a TL: DR version at the bottom for people with no patience for verbose internet ranting.

I've been a long time fan of the Witcher series (well, maybe not a "fan", I never got into the novels and can't tell if Nilfgaard is east or west of Temeria ). I just saw an ad for the Wild Hunt pre-order bonus. Since I own both previous games, the savings are quote tempting. However I have always preferred the box copies of games, especially of TW series. The maps and manuals are quite handy. Reading the game guide is definitely easier (yes I use the guide from time to time, so shoot me) than a digital pdf.

My question is, will there be similar discounts for the physical copies of the game? I'm guessing not but I just wanted to check. Also, when will the pre-order bonus expire (before release or earlier)?

Now some questions on TW2 and TW1. I don't think I have the save games anymore since I played both games. I am planning on reinstalling them and replaying through the story (which will probably be just in time when I finish since the games are like 9000 hours long). After redeeming the codes from my physical box copies, I see that the first game is now a "director's cut".

When I played it the game was just "enhanced edition". Can someone tell me what has changed? Would it be faster if I just installed from the DVDs then update (is there even a patch?). Same goes for TW2. I think I played through TW2 a couple of times after the enhanced edition came out, which was at least a year ago (or more, don't remember). Has there been new patches to the enhanced TW2? I ask because I backed up the enhanced edition patch on DVDs. I need to know if I have to download the (million terabyte?) installer from GOG or just install from the DVDs.

TL: DR version

1. Is there discount for box copy of TW3 pre-order?
2. When will discount for TW3 pre-order expire?
3. What's new in TW1 director's cut from Enhanced Edition?
4. Has there been updates to TW2 since it became Enhanced Edition?

======= Off-Topic Rant Follows ========

The free NWN copy does nothing for me... I have the boxed copy of the NWN Diamond edition. I played through that game so many times I think I can recite the plot from memory. Let's see... Um... There was a kobold named Deekins.... And uh... Dragons? And Dungeons?
1.) Amazon has Witcher 3 up for a discounted pre-order price of $49.99, which is only two dollars more expensive than the GOG version with the discount for having both previous games.

2.) No idea, sorry.

3.) The Director's Cut is basically an "uncensor" patch since the North American release of the game was apparently censored. As for what that means... uncensored sex cards and dryad models. Pretty sure it didn't actually add any content so much as providing the North America with the version of the game the rest of the world got. If you've already played the EE, I don't think you'll notice any real differences.

4.) The EE added some new content toward the end, but if you've already played it, I don't think they've added any actual content to the game in the patches since. They were bug fixes and mod tools, pretty much. If you wanted to play through fan-made content that you'd have to download the newest version, but otherwise you should be fine.
Thanks for the reply.

I live in Canada. Amazon.ca has the game up for $42.99 (CDN). I don't think it comes with any pre-order bonuses so not much point in pre-ordering (other than to show support?).

I distinctly remember the cards were uncensored when I played TW1... I found my TW2 save games btw. Though I may still replay both games. I did the same for Mass Effect 3, too bad that game turned out to be a rainbow of *bleep*.
