So having beat the game last night, I finally decided to download some of my extras and was really disappointed to see that half the music from the game isn't even included in the soundtrack. The battle tracks especially fall victim to this, and are some of the best ones in the game IMO - the songs that play during the battle of Vergen and on the eternal battlefield during chapter 2 were especially good.

On a related note, anybody know a good .fsb extractor? I want to listen to those tracks, and CDPR had to go and compress all the music instead of leaving them as playable files like they did in the first Witcher.

I haven't played through yet but here is a tool which might help (untested):
http://www.fmod.org/index.php/download

Edit:
Fmod appears to be a beast which is hard to tame maybe you can ask google for help in your task:

On a note:
Someone somewhere I believe on GoG.com posted that the Steam version had the audio as bin/cue or nrg that would be nice but what I really would like to see is all soundtracks on GoG.com as FLAC files.

As far as I can tell you can't extract .fsb files with that program, only open them. Unless I'm missing something... which is entirely possible, as it's confusing as all hell. The tutorial didn't have any information about opening .fsb files though so I'm lead to believe you can't.
Alright, finally managed to extract the music with a different program... but they are .CELT files. What the hell, CDPR? I've never even heard of that, and if google is any indication nobody else has either.

Anybody know how you play these?
Le bump. Anybody know what .CELT files are?

Sorry for not providing any more infos but I just googled it and do not know how exactly it works, guess you need Linux and use gstreamer or that libogg which is noted on the site linked above.

All credits to NicoDE. :)
Hehe NicoDE rules I remember chatting with him trying to solve a Gothic1 bug concerning ATI X1xxx cards and the inventory bug...

I'm sorry, could somebody translate the important bits of that link to English? I tried using a couple different translation sites but it's coming out as gibberish in all of them.
1. download the tw2unfsb.7z extract it :D
2. copy tw2unfsb.exe intro The Witcher 2\CookedPC\sounds\music folder
3. copy the fmodex.dll from The Witcher 2\bin intro The Witcher 2\CookedPC\sounds\music folder
3. drag the *.fsb's over the tw2unfsb.exe -> all tracks will be decode to *.wav's

Can anyone who has done extracting the files upload them somewhere? I don't want my way around these kind of things and don't want to damage anything related to my game.
the battle track is called odor of battle. it's on youtube.

Thank you, if only these tracks were included in the soundtracks they gave us. I hope they add the non added ones soon.
