New update released? galaxy says I can install a new one. What about the changelog? Also, is the full installer already up to date?

They updated GOG Galaxy to a new version today and this update is most likely related to it, they changed handling of downloading updates and Galaxy probably needs to revalidate same files.

Ah I see, I don't get why they this happen only to the witcher 2 though. But thanks for the reply :) .

It happened to me with Rebel Galaxy as well. They updated to the new model only a few games AFAIK so that's probably why you don't see all your games updated.
