It will be on GOG. As to its finished state, CD Projekt Red has a history of continually improving the game long after release. Take that how you will. Consider buying earlier to show that you support and want more DRM-free AAA titles ;)

CD Projekt Red is the ONLY developer Ill pay full price to for their games currently.

Doubt it. They've come out and said that they'll never use DRM again.

Obviously you shouldn't take that as an immutable truth just because they said it, but you can trust that they're PR-savvy enough to know what kind of backlash they'd face if they suddenly changed their mind, so I would be incredibly surprised if the disc version had DRM.

In the past they were forced to have DRM on the disks due to not being able to self-publish.

They then went and released patches that removed the DRM. Not because of any backlash, but because of their philosophy.
