The Worst Thing About Witcher 2 Ever is that... it ends :(
Something i really miss in the witcher 2 is the lack of fauna! I mean, i can hear dogs and ducks everywhere but, Where are they???
I think they have all been extinct since Witcher 1 where and when they were "farmed" (read hunted) for crafting components.

I don't remember the alien monkeys being "farm-able" in TW1 though.

You sure you are not talking about alien monkeys from Mass Effect? :)
They are based on books.. just like LOTR .. it has to end. UNLESS that is why they have to release their own IP (Intellectual Property) much like Bioware did with Dragon Age. But IN MY OWN OPINION.. the DA settings sucks for me. No offense to others who liked it.

well the games take place after the end of the books, so there's technically no preset limit to where CDPR can go with the story.
Oh sure I know all good things must come to an end :)
And I certainly would hate to see the Witcher turn into an MMO,
I am just saying that once you finish the game... you kind of wish you didn't :)

And I am just wondering how TW3 (if there is going to be one) are going to be able to handle the multiple choices. It is a huge amount of work to write stories/designs that will cover all those possibilites (unless they decide to resort to mostly "your-choice-gets-a-passing-mention-in-dialogues" approach)

Not sure if I am concerned about it that much myself…
Yes it is hard to walk away from the BioWare “summary at the end of the game” template that tells you how your actions have influenced things for years to come (including all NPCs).
But there is something more refreshing in the way Witcher 2 ended (at least for me),
Yes, sure, 3rd Chapter does feel a little rushed but it also feels more like real life, where you walk away from the adventure, possibly content with your decisions, certainly victorious (at least in many cases) and ready to accept the future as it comes.
Life offers no summaries :)
Not sure we gonna have a quality Witcher 2 expansions or Witcher 3 as now Tomasz Gop has left CDPR :(

Black Isle did the ending cut scene choises consequences thing 5 years before Bioware.

And Origin did it before them :)
Glad to see I am not the only veteran around these parts :)
I simply said BioWare because the net is full of their fans and they easy relate to it :)

I think you are being a little bit of an alarmist :)

I am kind of hoping that this is the last game where i am forced to play an amnesiac Geralt or even Geralt at all. I think it would be cool to play from a mages perspective playing from either Triss' or Sile's perspective advancing thier goals. There could be a place for a witcher type of character as the lackey who gets to do the dirty work. I think it would have been more fun to play TW2 as Triss, Sile' or even Phillipa as opposed to Geralt, so been there and done that already twice now.
