Asai: Hello all i am new to the forums just posted somewhat of a critique of combat as i see it in comparison to combat from the first Witcher and there is no comparison the combat in the first one was better. This combat mechanic has turned the game into a click fest that if you can hit the left click, no need to bother with the right click, if you left click fast enough NOTHING and I mean NOTHING can stand against you, signs alchemy are irrelevant. What i have taken to doing is to lock onto a target and then with my left index finger to secure the mouse in one spot, by removing my right hand from the mouse entirely i can click fast enough that combat is simple. Just toss a Quen to negate the first blow while you get into position, lock onto a target, do as i described previously and "left click" drive your opponent back to an obstruction if they even last that long.
Sorry for saying so even if only just past the first act as i am but i really REALLY miss the combat of the first game. too much "awesome button" this year in gaming.

I beg to differ about the click-fest comment. There is a limit to how fast Geralt can attack. Once you get blocked / hit, you will get staggered and will be open to counter-attack, regardless of how fast you click.
