I tried many times to connect my Playstation Controller with the witcher 2 gog version and i can't move. I can use the interface ingame but i cant move, attack or whatever.

Many games are designed for keyboard control. Generally because there is so much complex interaction.

All the Witcher games are like this.

Use "DS4Windows" application. It tells your system that PS4 controller is an Xbox controller. Works great!
They have an official site, probably first one if you google it.

I play Witcher 1, Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 with a controller and I love it.
It is a preference thing.

Is there any way to make the game recongise my gamepad. I have a 3rd party controller. Model name blackstar (if that helps) and the game just doesnt show it in options.
